Luxembourg American Family Tree

Lëtzebuergesch Amerikanesche Stammbam

  • Checks or Credit Cards accepted.

The Luxembourg American Family Tree [Lëtzebuergesch Amerikanesche Stammbam] will be a one-of-a-kind, permanent art sculpture located in the Wëllkomm Centre of the Luxembourg American Cultural Center.  Standing twelve feet tall, the Family Tree will contain 148 leaves (10 x 12 inches) displaying photographs of various Luxembourg immigrants to America or their descendants.  The names of the people on the leaves will be permanently etched in a glass recognition panel near the family tree.  Two computer monitors, located near the Family Tree, will also contain additional genealogical and historic information about these individuals.

This exciting opportunity to honor or memorialize loved ones will only be available to the first 148 donors who respond with a gift of $2,000 or more.

The Luxembourg American Family Tree will be the main focal point as visitors arrive at and depart from the Cultural Center’s Roots & Leaves Museum.  The Family Tree will memorialize and honor Luxembourg Americans immigrants and their descendants for generations to come.  If family members would like to pool their gifts to honor or memorialize loved ones they can do so by making a combined donation of $2,000 or more.
